Product Overview
Brown aluminum oxide is electrically fused from a mixture of bauxite, coal, and iron borings, resulting in a brown, angular abrasive with high hardness and toughness. This sharp, fast-cutting abrasive is silica-free and performs reliably across a wide range of metalworking and surface preparation applications.
Its combination of high hardness, sharpness, and chemical stability makes it ideal for bonded and coated abrasive products. Brown aluminum oxide produces a matte finish or anchor pattern on most metal surfaces and can be used economically in closed-system blasting operations.
The material's tenacity and heat resistance ensure consistent performance in demanding grinding, polishing, and surface preparation work.
